A certificate is only useful if the person reading it can trust it. Every certificate issued by the academy can be checked against our register by anyone, without an account.

Three identifiers

  • Serial number. The year of issue and a running number, for example UTR-2026-000042.
  • Verification code. Twelve characters in three groups. It cannot be guessed from the serial number.
  • QR code. Opens the verification page with the result already shown.

What the check shows

The verification page shows the holder's name, the programme, the date of issue and whether the certificate is valid, expired or revoked. It shows nothing else about the holder.

If a certificate is revoked, the record is kept and marked as revoked, so a copy that is still in circulation can be recognised.
